Wyndham Basketball is proud to announce that NBL star DJ Vasiljevic will be hosting an exclusive Basketball Showcase during the Term 2 School Holidays.

Currently playing for the Adelaide 36ers, DJ brings a wealth of professional and international experience, offering young players a rare chance to train with one of the best in the game.

• U12/U14: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm

• Set the freshman record with 51 made three-pointers
• Averaged 9.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game
• Ranked second in school history for made threes (272)
• Scored 1,271 career points, placing 21st all-time at Miami

• Averaged 15.4 points per game in his debut NBL season
• Helped the Kings win back-to-back championships in 2022 and 2023
• Scored 42 points with 10 three-pointers in a standout 2023 game

• Played for the Phoenix Suns (2022)
• Played for the Washington Wizards (2023) and later signed an Exhibit 10 contract Adelaide 36ers (2023–Present)
• Signed a three-year extension in January 2024

All Abilities Basketball

All Abilities Basketball resumed on Tuesday, 29 April, and it was fantastic to see familiar faces back on court, laughing, playing, and reconnecting after the holidays. Teammates caught up over stories from the break, while several new participants joined in to experience All Abilities Basketball for the first time.

We also proudly entered a Wyndham team in the Bacchus Marsh Specialist Hoops Tournament this April. The team secured three wins and finished as runners-up in the grand final. A huge congratulations to our dedicated players and coach Natalie for their incredible performance and teamwork.

Walking Basketball

Walking Basketball is back in full swing at Wyndham. It’s been great to see players of all ages enjoying friendly games and catching up over a cuppa afterwards. This social and low-impact format welcomes participants aged 35 to 82, making it a fun and inclusive option for staying active.

Wyndham also entered two teams in the Eltham Walking Basketball Tournament, achieving five total wins on the day. A big shout-out to all players who represented Wyndham with outstanding teamwork and spirit.

Wheelchair Basketball

Our wheelchair basketball program is running weekly on Tuesdays, from 4:00 pm to 4:40 pm, on Court 4. This inclusive session is open to anyone with or without disability and is perfect for beginners. If you’re looking to try something new, build skills and have fun, come along and give it a go.
