About The Program

VBL Overview

The VBL is Victoria’s premier semi-professional basketball league, bringing together more than 140 teams from over 45 associations across metropolitan and regional Victoria. It provides a high-level senior competition environment and remains an important part of the Victorian basketball pathway. 

Wyndham Basketball is proud to compete in the VBL competition, with our program playing an important role in the development of both players and coaches. Our VBL teams form a key part of the Wyndham pathway, helping athletes progress from junior representative basketball into senior competition.

The program reflects Wyndham’s commitment to long-term development, high-performance standards, and creating opportunities for local talent to continue their journey within the association.

VBL Admission

Home games are at Eagle Stadium, and you can rock up and buy a ticket at the door. There’s no better way to show your support of your favourite Wyndham VBL stars than with a Season Pass! VBL Season passes are unbelievable value- giving you entry to all 44 of our scheduled 2026 regular season VBL Champ Men, Division 1 Women and Youth League home games.

History of the Program

Wyndham Basketball has fielded four teams in the VBL program, with our senior and youth teams contributing strongly to the association’s representative pathway.

In the past few years, Wyndham’s Senior Men and Senior Women achieved a history-making dual championship in the top-tier Championship division. During that period, our Youth Men and Youth Women also competed in Division 1. 

That success remains an important part of the program’s story and reflects the strength of Wyndham’s player and coach development pipeline.
