Senior Competition
The Senior Domestic Basketball Competition is open to men and women of all ages (over 15)
Team registrations for the Summer 23/24 season will open in early September, with the season set to start in October. Existing teams that competed in the Winter 23 season will be granted early access to registrations and new teams will be able to register 2 weeks after that.

Competition is played at Eagle Stadium in the following grades:
Monday Night – Men (including Premier Division) & Women Premier Division
Wednesday Night – Men
Sunday Night – Women

Basketball Victoria developed platform PlayHQ is used to register to play at Wyndham basketball. PlayHQ is designed by basketball people solely for basketball use.
Basketball Victoria is moving from a team-based insurance fee to an individual registration model. Previously BV would take a large percentage of the team entry fee charged by Wyndham Basketball to go towards insurance for the members. Now individual members will pay an annual registration fee directly to Basketball Victoria. This fee will cover player insurance, affiliation with Basketball Victoria and Australia and the opportunity to participate in all BV sanctioned leagues, events and competitions.

If you would like to play in our senior domestic competition, but don’t have a team to play with, please register your interest here and we’ll do our best to help get you in contact with a team that needs players.

If you have a team, but are struggling to get a side together every week, have some injury niggles or just need more bodies to get out with you, please let us know by filling in the form here and we’ll do our best to help get you in contact with a player that fits your team and grade.

FEES
Fee structure for a regular season
Existing Teams:
- $60 per team
- Each individual within the team will pay $25 if they are 17 years or younger, or $39 is they are 18 years or over – this individual fee is what goes straight to BV.
- For existing teams, you will receive an existing team code to re-register without the commitment fee.
New Teams:
- $60 per team
- $130 commitment fee
- Each individual within the team will pay $25 if they are 17 years or younger, or $39 is they are 18 years or over – this individual fee is what goes straight to BV.
Please note that the individual fees are charged annually by BV and cover you to play at multiple Associations.
